Three kinds of cookie, two of them optional.
Which cookies the Tranche website and app set, what each one does, how long it lasts and how you change your choice.
Sample text for the Tranche template, written for a fictional company. Have every document reviewed by a lawyer and your compliance officer before you publish.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser. Similar tools, such as local storage and pixels, work the same way and are covered here too.
2. Strictly necessary
These keep you signed in, protect forms against abuse and remember your cookie choice. The site and app cannot work without them, so they cannot be switched off. Examples: a session cookie that ends when you close the browser, and a security token that lasts 12 hours.
3. Preferences
These remember settings such as light or dark display and the account you last viewed. They last up to 180 days and are set only if you allow them.
4. Analytics
These tell us which pages are read and where visitors leave, in aggregate, so we can improve the site. They last up to 13 months and are set only with your consent. They are never set inside the signed-in app.
5. What we do not use
We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking or retargeting pixels, and no cookie on this site carries your account balances or holdings.
6. Your choices
When you first visit, you can accept or refuse each category except strictly necessary cookies. You can change your choice at any time from the Cookie settings link in the footer, or clear cookies in your browser settings.
We honor Global Privacy Control signals as a refusal of analytics cookies.
7. Changes
If we add a cookie or change its purpose, we will update this page and ask for your consent again where required.
